Our vision
To serve the needy so that they may experience the tangible Love and Presence of Jesus.
The Living Hope Food Bank is so much more than a food hamper distribution point. We have a café corner where our visitors can not only enjoy a cuppa and biscuits, but socialise with others who find themselves in similar situations.
It is also a place where there is always an encouraging word and a listening ear available. It’s a safe place where people get treated with respect. Living Hope is run by an awesome team of volunteers who unselfishly give hours of their time and energy to serve others.
The vision of Living Hope was given to Tokkie Haywood in a London Hotel in 2011 – to open a charity shop to raise funding for a Food Bank outlet, with a coffee corner as a place of befriending and words of encouragement.
The Living Hope Food Bank is open every Wednesday
